So this weekend, as I mentioned before, was a short weekend due to having to work on Saturday to make up for a lost day of work this last week for a strike. Well let me tell you they got a whole lot of production out of everyone on Saturday, well those that showed up at least. I can say for myself that I enjoyed a nice hour nap and playing some GTA. I can honestly say that for me, and others who followed suit, that I didn’t really miss out of anything. The teaching basically straight from slides and then we get “homework” assignments that are complete read a PDF file and type exactly what it tells you to. The only hard “work” is all of the typing we have to do. They made the PDF files encrypted so copying and pasting isn’t available.
I didn’t really do anything eventful this weekend. I did manage to see the season premieres of two of my favorite shows, Lost and Battlestar Galactica. Lost started out amazingly working off of ways they started the season 2 premiere with. However, I wasn’t really thrilled with its ending and was somewhat disappointed for once in the show. Battlestar Galactica followed with a two episode premiere. It is definitely a different kind of show without as much action happening in space and the majority happening on New Caprica. I was definitely impressed with the ending of the premiere of that show as it has me left in suspense for next weeks episode.
In other news I finished my third book today, “Hour Game” by David Baldacci. I recommend reading this book and I am ready to find another book by the same author.
I plan on finishing the weekend out by listening to the Colts play the Titans tonight as they should make it to 5-0 as the Titans are having a horrible start to a new season. However, it will be interesting to see how Vince Young will play against a sometimes struggling Colts defense.
